JTRE Wins the United Kingdom’s Most Prestigious Architecture Award - the RIBA Stirling Architectural Prize

We are delighted to share that JTRE — developer of Kempinski Grace Bay — has been awarded the 2025 RIBA Stirling Prize, the United Kingdom’s highest architectural honour, for Appleby Blue, an innovative residential community for older Londoners.

The RIBA Stirling Prize is presented annually by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) to buildings that have made the greatest contribution to British architecture in a given year.  Since it is awarded not just for aesthetics, but for innovation, sustainability, and social impact, winning the Stirling Prize is considered one of the highest honours in global architecture.

This landmark achievement marks the first time a social housing-led development has received this accolade, celebrating architecture’s power to create meaningful human connection.

Designed by Witherford Watson Mann, Appleby Blue redefines urban living through intelligent design and a deep sense of connection — values that also guide JTRE’s global portfolio, from London’s Triptych Bankside to the upcoming Kempinski Grace Bay on Turks and Caicos’ world-renowned shoreline.  At Grace Bay, that same dedication to design excellence and social integrity finds expression in a different form — a low-density coastal sanctuary that honours its natural environment while setting a new benchmark for refined Caribbean living.

From the streets of Bermondsey to the sands of Grace Bay, JTRE continues to demonstrate that true luxury — like great architecture — lies in authenticity, vision, and the quiet pursuit of beauty.
